Abi joined Inca, as a graduate stylist, when it first opened in 1999. After a couple of years, to further her education, she moved to Gloucester to join the team at Toni and Guy. During that time, she trained with L’Oréal Professional at their London Academy, qualifying and specialising as a Colour Technician.
When Abi returned home, she also became the new owner of Inca Hair & Beauty and is looking forward to soon celebrating two decades of salon ownership.
As a L’Oréal salon, all Inca staff have regular access to some of the best colour training in the industry. Not surprisingly, one of Abi’s favourite things to do is colouring. Everything from highlights to challenging colour corrections – Abi enjoys nothing more than seeing her clients faces as they leave feeling fabulous.
Abi has two children and, as a working mother, understands the importance of a work life balance. When not at the salon she is ‘making memories’ with her daughters.
Rosie has been hairdressing since she was 16. She loves nothing more than helping her clients achieve the look they are after by transforming their hair in a sustainable, manageable way. She offers all her clients advice on how to achieve that ‘just stepped out of the salon’ look at home, by recommending the right home care products and sharing professional blowdrying techniques.
She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing from cutting to colouring, styling to curling, absolutely nothing fazes her.
Rosie loves music and going to gigs. She will race to be first to the salon, taking control of Alexa to get her indie/alternative music on in the mornings – although she doesn’t always win when it comes to the playlists.
Tom started his hairdressing career at Inca, quickly becoming an established part of the team. His commitment and enthusiasm for hairdressing is easy to see from the passion he shows for styling. His sunny nature, and dry sense of humour, never fails to put people at ease and make everyone feel welcome.
Tom has recently qualified as a Stylist and has already gained a loyal following amongst our clients. If forced to choose his favourite part of his job, then blowdrying and styling would be his choice.
When not in work he is either researching new tattoo ideas for himself, socialising with his mates or binge-watching the latest must-see shows.
